Impact measurement

Impact measurement is crucial for any organisation that delivers social good.

Understanding your organisation’s impact will help you to:

  • Focus your work on what really matters – accountability to your stakeholders
  • Report on the achievements of existing and future services
  • Strengthen your organisation for the longer term
  • Raise public trust and support
  • Attract social investors and grow new income streams

We have a range of impact options to help you achieve this, suitable for organisations at any point in their impact journey, from low-level mentoring advice to a full-scale impact evaluation report.

Our team is led by Level 3 Advanced Impact Practitioner Karl Leathem.

Financial sustainability

Your financial sustainability is critical to meeting your beneficiaries’ needs.

We can enable you to:

  • Recover more costs from grants and contracts
  • Improve the capabilities and processes in your finance function
  • Develop your business model to ensure future sustainability
  • Improve operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Innovate and reimagine your organisation

We see the finance team as a key element of your organisation and part of the infrastructure platform that supports and enhances your work.

Our team of finance professionals, led by Marcus Lees-Millais, can work with your trustees and finance team to establish how they can better serve the current and future needs of your organisation.

Fundraising strategy

While everyone can and should fundraise, it’s also easy to do it wrong, so it’s important you have a fundraising strategy of your own.

Our experts can help you raise more money and:

  • Improve how you articulate your Case for support
  • Identify the best sources of funding for your nonprofit organisation
  • Develop your fundraising techniques
  • Ensure your fundraising is done with accountability
  • Engage trustees and key stakeholders in the process.

Fundraising is all about connecting what your organisation does with those who might fund it.

Our team of fundraising professionals is led by Dan Fletcher. Together we can help you and your organisation fundraise better, raising more money to support your beneficiaries.

Strategic planning

Reviewing options or developing a future strategy can help you innovate and reimagine your organisation. We often develop this by focusing on impact first and helping you to ask difficult questions to reach a core strategic direction. Our 360 diagnostic tool which will enable your charity to assess its performance across nine strategic areas and focus effort on what matters.

We can help you look at what knowledge and data you hold and how you can use this better to gain insights for the future, or improve the way you help service users, clients or beneficiaries.

Our team of specialist charity advisers and practitioners, led by Dan Fletcher, can work with you to develop your future strategy, so that your organisation can survive and thrive.

Training courses

To help your team increase its skills base, we offer a range of options for training courses, from half-day open virtual workshops to bespoke training.

Our programme has included fundraising strategy, impact measurement, financial sustainability and strategic planning. These half-day interactive workshops are for senior practitioners and will combine the latest knowledge with practical advice for your day-to-day activities.

Each class costs £99 + VAT per person. Class sizes will be capped at 16 to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from the course content and giving you the opportunity to ask questions.

The cost recovery work has helped immensely in negotiating with local authorities for sustainable levels of funding. It has given absolute clarity and transparency of the cost presentation. Your work has been exactly what we wanted – so very helpful.
